Fully cured cross linked polymers like epoxy/polyester/vinyl ester are quite resistant of solvents.  Should be able to tolerate the exposure time to remove paint without any structural damage to the polymer.  Just try throwing a piece of cured material into some solvent to get an idea of how it will withstand the solvent.  Think you will be surprised.  Compare  the time to the actual 'wet' time for the paint removal.

It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little.  When you pay too much, you lose a little money --- that is all.
