Not only do the leading edges of the flaps droop unevenly but there is an uneven gap between the flap and the wing pocket while the flap is in the full up position. One solution is to shim the flap hinge brackets on the rear spar to get the leading edge of the flap to match the lower wing skin. I used various combinations of AN washers between the spar and the hinge brackets until I was satisfied with the fit. Then I applied a release between the spar and each of the hinge brackets. Longer bolts may be required if you have to shim the brackets a significant amount. This is a trial and error process and takes time. Some builders have built a filler/spacer onto the flap pocket to close the uneven gap between the flap. I have not done that yet. Maybe other Legacy builders can comment on how they addressed this problem. Jim Thomas L2K #166
