First off ,check to see if there are washers that could be removed from the top conical mount points, they're usually easier to get to. By adding one standard AN washer, maybe a little less than 1/8" thick to each of the bottom conical mounts we raised the nose about 5/16". It's a trial and error sort of thing. Be sure the washer is large enough in OD to cover the Lord rubber mount and placed just next to and forward of the engine mount flange (Metal to metal) Pick the engine up by the prop extension spool just back of the spinner using rope and a "come along" to be able to move the engine a little bit at a time. You usually have to loosen the upper mount bolts/nuts a bit to work the washers in the lower mount in or out. When all is done, retorque to 15 INCH-POUNDS. The normal engine mount washers are too thick to accomplish a 1/4" raise. Hope this helps...
