It was specified for use on a composite Long Eze's firewall in the
original plans. I have heard some are using it in the wheel pants
to help with brake heat deforming solid glass landing gear.

I used a product called FIBERFRAX from ACS to line my lower cowl using 3-M spray glue.  It is a 1/4 inch blanket type material and went on fairly easy.  In my 50 hrs flight time, it was still looking new  

Anyone else use this material?
