I do hope to be writing more over the build time of my 320 and enjoy the comments I've read from the givers of the group. I use only acetone in the cleanup before bid application. I have never used MC and probably never will. The caveate is this: I have noticed if the area of bid application is really wetted with acetone to ensure a thorough cleaning...there is an accumulation of air bubbles under the bids the next day. I learned a cure for this, early on, and after chiseling out several bids and replacing them. The cure is simple...take your heat gun and heat the area just cleaned. This will dry-out the target area and all the acetone is driven out of the fibers. Or just allow the area to naturally dry out thoroughly if you are leery of a big bang with the heat gun in your hand. I also use a pressurized spray container for my acetone. These spray containers are 1 quart size, and you pressurize them from your compressed air source. They are made in Milwaukee, WI and handy as all get out. You can spritz around the cleanup area and really conserve the acetone with these. They hold a pressure charge forever. Mine only needs repressurized at fill time. I've seen them for sale in the Harbor Freight catalogs too. Happy spritzing. Jerry Grimmonpre'
