Feathers:
On my IO-320-D1C, which should have been comparable to your motor before
I hot-rodded it, I was seeing take-off FF right at 16 gph at 2,000'
density altitude (80*C). This yielded take-off EGTs in the mid-1200s
and CHTs in the high 300s. Since hot-rodding (ported, polished,
flow-balanced heads & 10:1 pistons), we had to increase full-throttle
fuel flow to 18 gph to keep EGTs under 1300 and CHTs under 400 on
take-off.
Hope this is useful info.
