The FAA only requires that the Manufacturer (you), the Model (Lancair 360?) and the Serial Number (some use kit no., others use the no. of the airplanes they have built - like 1) be on a fire proof plate behind the rearmost entry door. The FAA required Aircraft weight and balance doucument (must be carried in the aircraft) must have the maximum gross weight on it. That number is your choice within reason. Lancair has recently recommended 1800 pounds, others have set higher gross weights depending on tail size, etc. Remember that after your test phase, you will at least state in the aircraft log that the aircraft is controllable thru all normal maneuvers and thru the weight range.

APE could have mounted a data plate for you. It probably would have the aircraft builder's name (you) on it and the model, such as Lycoming xyz along with horsepower and timing info.
