Hello,
My
name is Bryan and I live in Utah. At the end of Feb I returned from the
Builder's workshop after two weeks getting help and a good start on my Super
ES. I have now completed the installation of the wing fairings.
Because the airplane is now upside down it is a good time to fit the landing
gear fairings. After reviewing the manual I have learned what many of you
already know. The manual lacks a lot. I have found that the fairing
that wraps around the landing gear tube is not even close to fit into the wheel
pant or the fueselage fairing. In some areas it is over 1" too small
meaning that an artist in micro work must get to work to try to salvage these
joint areas or possibly discard of the Lancair parts and mold my own.
Before I get too committed to this project does anyone have any advice
on the best way to fit these pieces together in an acceptable
fashion?
I
appreciate any advice you can offer.
Bryan
