Dave,
A most impressive achievement. I'm interested! My sense is that you've added
significantly to your engine reliability and longevity in addition to the
speed and efficiency improvements. While engine makers publish "max"
operating temps at which their stuff should stay together, operating in the
upper limits of heat causes stress on everything and shortens engine life.
