Scott, you are referring to a totally different use of the DHI kevlar brake
line.  In the LIV this line never sees daylight.  It is not exposed.  The
brake failures you mention were from nylaflow which continued all the way
to the brake caliper.  The application I'm talking about replaces only the
nylaflow in the cockpit and down the LIV gear leg (internally).  Externally
from the axel to the brake will be the standard  Lancair supplied brake
line.  In this manner there is no temperature rise, and no UV exposure.
