I thought that I would be ready for the race with my new=20
AeroComposites, carbon fiber propeller. But alas, the crank was just=20
found to be cracked.

I am really happy now that the engine was taken apart. The crack was at=20=

the flange. A failure would have caused the prop to depart. Not a=20
situation that I would want to be in.

I am still trying to get in touch with the engine shop to find out if=20
the crank that they have located is standard size or cut down.

Right now, this year's race doesn't look like it is in the cards for me.
