The gas struts on our forward = hinged=20 canopy are shot. Normally, this would not be a problem, just call = Vern and=20 order some new ones. The problem is, Vern is out of stock and doesn't = know when=20 he'll get any. I've been to Pep Boys and found a strut of the same = physical=20 dimensions but seems to be way too strong for our purpose.
