I have built the most beautiful elevator compensator for our Lancair IV-P
(pressurized) and we don't need it. We are using sealed shafts instead.
The assembly was built by me, an IA, with the utmost care and detail. The
aluminum tubes have been etched, alodyned, primered with epoxy zinc chromate
and top coated with white polyurethane before assembly. The unit has been
in storage for eighteen months in a plastic bag in my basement where the
temp varies from about 40 to 80 F. The rubber is powered with talc. All
fittings are in place.
For $100 plus frieght you can save yourself days of hassle and have the
best. I just need to get rid of it...
Thanks,
Walter Dodson
