That's exactly what I did.
After installing the windows we did 3 BID releases around the perimeters and
trimmed them to about 2" wide. They're ready to take to the interior
shop in a couple of weeks. We did this before putting the top on the
fuselage, which made the job far easier, though it can certainly be done
afterwards as well.
