I guess we've all seen the pictures on TV of the Lancair that went down in
southern California. Anybody on the list know who was involved? A friend in
SoCal emailed me yesterday that the news had it that there was an engine
failure due to a fuel problem and that no one was hurt - but, as we all
know, such stories by the media are hip-shots at best, and just plain
speculation at worst.

Couldn't quite make out the N-number but it looked like an all white LNC2 on
the tube. Didn't look all that badly damaged either, but the TV shots were
from a chopper so was hard to tell.

Hope the folks in it walked away.
