While I did meet Don briefly when he was here flying my friend's plane, he and I did not discuss the airplane. Don flew the plane for about six hours over two days. I've been flying it ever since (about 10 hours). I asked my friend whether Don mentioned the friction and he said no. It was while my friend and I were tracking down the friction issue that I noticed the free-play in the aileron train. We had not done anything to the control system that would have created the free-play at that point. I did not notice it while flying. The fuel leak may not have been evident or even existent when Don was flying. I didn't notice it myself until after 10 hours of flying! Sorry Don! I didn't mean to cast asparagus, I mean aspersions on your fine reputation! Q-Tip --Boundary_(ID_Y94Nh72MD7SuuPLwBSimWw) Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT
