hi all-
does anyone have any info/insight into the garrett turbine engine as an alternative to the walter-?viable option? 40% less fuel burn sounds very appealing. i actually called garrett this am and talked to a very friendly/helpful chap who said he would forward me some info but did not seem overly enthusiastic about using the garrett in this application. he actually really seemed to like the walter engine calling it a reliable tractor type of engine.
just trying to check out all options.
also would be interested in any innovative ways to increase fuel capacity on the ivpt and any pireps on customer flying ivpt's.
