I used 2 of each ( one of each Type on each spring ).
The stainless ones are a bit longer which is why I used them.
Unless you need them to get the exact length for your canopy you can save a few $ getting the steel ones (or plastic)
on both ends. I paid as much for the stainless fittings as the springs, but I presume they will never wear out.
