The LML is a terrific resource for all of us and I think all agree it is best if everyone is careful to keep a polite and respectful tone. One challenge we all have is that it can be difficult to accurately convey tone with this medium. I'm pretty sure that many things that are written in the LML that seem a bit "edgy" would be fine if you could just hear the person who wrote it saying it. To help me read things with a friendly tone, I've even setup my email to display all of the "plain text" messages I receive (mostly LML) in the friendliest font I know of -- Comic Sans MS, 10 pt., and blue in color. I also just remind myself that we're all "airplane people" and that that common passion alone bonds us to each other more so than to some of our own family members. I think we all just want to help each other build better airplanes and become better pilots -- so that in spite of the additional life risk we voluntarily expose ourselves too, we can still die peacefully from old age... :) Valin Legacy 173
