I also have a 1989 320 slow-build kit with 400 hours on it. There is a force imbalance between the effort necessary to roll vs alter its attitude at 190 kts. Control can be learned in 1 hour. Its is even easier to learn if the elevator bellcrank arm is shortened from 4 inches to 3 inches thus raising the force necessary to displace the elevator - many, if not most, 320/360 aficionados have made this modification. At slow speeds, the forces are more closely matched thus assisting in the gentle control of this pleasure machine. BTW, this is totally "fixed" in the Legacy - The ailerons are enormous, ergo the forces are beautifully balanced for pitch and roll control. Any IV-P pilot could fly the Legacy.
