I would like to ask Dr. Johnson to elaborate a bit on what "scared" him
during his flight in the 320 original (small) tail.  There are builders and
flyers out there with the original tail that have very sensitive eyes and
ears and who might be unnecessarily disturbed.  Dr. Johnson makes a loaded
up statement.

My 320 is a 1989 kit with the original tail.  I have happily flown the
airplane for about 800 hours and can say without hesitation that there has
not been one instance of my being "scared" about anything with regard to the
airplanes stability and handling.  I have found there to be no surprises
during the test period or the subsequent hours of impressive performance.
