Cute, but misses any point.  Controlling the temperature RANGE of engine components, such as cylinders, allows for much tighter tolerances and, thus, more efficiency.  An air cooled engine must have sloppy tolerances because of the tremendous expansion/contraction as a result of the great temp range in which it must operate.
