All this talk about first flights finally got me to disclose my plans:  I
plan to do all the testing of my ES - up to the full limit of my abilities.
As a 1500 hour pilot of Spam cans that will get me up to about 30 mph during
taxi tests.  I feel fully qualified to drive most $200,000 front-steer
vehicles (cars) at over 100 mph, but I have zero time in a
differential-braking vehicle, hence the 30 mph limit.  Leave the ground?  I
don't think so.
