Mine did not completely come apart but ceased to work because the gears no longer were making contact. This was on a LCN2 so it just did not cause the wanted spring tension etc. The back bearing plate pushed out as Jim described. I've also had a recent failure of the MAC 6A.  Mine did not = completely=20 come apart but ceased to work because the gears no longer were making=20 contact.  This was on a LCN2 so it just did not cause the wanted = spring=20 tension etc.   The back bearing plate pushed out as Jim=20 described.  Earl
