Subject: ES Fusalage bonding

I plan to bond my fuselage haves together this weekend.  I have several
EAAers from my local chapter coming over to help. I had always assumed that
the door frame and door stiffener were to be fitted after the fuselage was
bonded together, but in reading the manual today,  I see they state
otherwise.
I have learned over the years that building the plane in an order that seems
logical to me, and by methods that seem much simpler, is much less
frustrating than following the manual. Those building ES's know what I'm
talking about.
My dilemma is this. Are they right this time?  Should I find something else
for the EAA group to do? { I won't have time to properly fit the door frame
and overhead console by Saturday} or should I just continue on as planed.
The fuselage is a super slow build version and I have already built
everything in the fuselage that does not also attach to the upper section.
Any advise from those who have gone before me will be greatly appreciated.
