It's a nine day trip from Middleton to Oregon, down the busy coast and back with stops at Sedona, Telluride and the likes therof. I did it in the winter, best time. As I recall there was near 20 hrs in IMC, we handled heavy snow, some light ice and 3 or 4 approaches to 500ft or lower ceilings, flew a leg with the static ports taped, did DME arcs and even one ASR approach. The practical and first hand experience was invaluable in my opinion. The website itself has some tips and tricks, jelly beans, you might find interesring. Bob Barker
