In-Reply-To: X-Original-Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Legacy Builders, I have just installed front canopy hinges on my 360 project. I made them myself following the sketch of Cavitt posted here on LML. (Nice design...This site rocks!) My hinge fixed point attach to the longeron area beside the header tank. Very solid...no stress on tank...hinge point forward. Now I need to rig up gas struts, so i have been interested in the traffic on this subject last week. If I inderstand the legacy layout the struts attach to the "elbow" of the hinge. Do they the run forward and down? To the firewall? Perhaps I could do that as well, but I dont know where to mount the other end. Any advice? Could a Legacy builder snap a photo? or scan a sketch? Thanks, Jeff Peterson N273CK...LNC2 90%
