I have the system in my Legacy and have 150 flying hours of experience with the system. The functionality and operation with my storm scope and Garmin 430 is fantastic. If only I could see the darn thing. The back light system is terrible at best and horrible at worst. I can not read the instrument 75% of the time rendering is useless. If you have a Legacy or any plane with an large canopy stay away from the Sandel unit until they fix the lighting problem. At Oshkosh last year the technical manager for tSandel came to my plane to replace the unit with the show demonstrator that looked fantastic in the booth. After the installation he admitted that they have a little problem. He could not read the unit in the plane either. Regards, Rick
