Olsen" Subject: Oil from Front of Engine X-Original-Cc: "John Stchur" Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed" I just got back from a 3 hour flight at 15,500 ft, 2,450 rpm, 16.6 inches MP, 7 gph, -1 deg C, 133 kts indicated and 170 kts true yesterday and saw oil running down the front strut at about a drop every 15 seconds. Judging from the oil spattering against the cowling, I think that I have a front main bearing leak. The engine shop will look at it on Tuesday, 05/28/02. Any other ideas? -- Lorn H.
