I've been with USAA for over 30 years and - though I hate paying the premiums - they are GREAT. Always pay claims (I haven't had many or very large). They don't mess around with you when you screw up. I got three tickets in three years and came close to having them drop me. Yes they do raise your rates for three years when you are at fault in an accident. I think you have to join as an officer in armed services while on active duty (not sure about this). >Now, and this is important, if I am elected your President in 2004, I will >craft >legislation that requires all insurance companies to write insurance for >whatever coverage (health, life, disability, liability, long term care, >property >damage, etc.) to whomever walks in the door just as Motel 6 or Wendys or any >local lunch counter has to serve all the public regardless of whatever >prejudice >du jour might exist. They tried forcing medical and dental insurance plans to do something like that in Washington State a few years ago - just about bankrupted the whole system in just about three short years!
