Just got a quote from Avemco for liability insurance for my 320.  They'll be happy to give me $1M liability with $100k medical per incident.  One catch -- they won't insure the occupants of the airplane.  i.e.. if the passenger sues me, I'm on my own!

Another insists that I get 3 hours of instruction from a CFI with at least 50 hours in a 320 before they'll insure me.  The third wants _15_ hours with a CFI before they'll insure passengers.  I'm not sure what he's supposed to teach me that takes 15 hours.

This is for an ATP with over 7000 hours in over 80 aircraft types who has never had an accident or incident.

Does anyone know of any insurance company who's willing to provide a decent policy for a reasonable price?

Thanks,
Naf
