Doesn't  bypassing the main bus running off the battery eliminate possible
radio and electronic interferance?  Also you have fewer connections where
possible resistance could occur  thus  eliminating dangerous heat buildup
and possible wire insulation burning events. This event could ruin your day
if the main bus was fried. High amperage circuits should require separate
consideration.
