About a year ago Matco changed materials in their brake discs. The
older discs were precipitating carbon at the surface which was acting as
a lubricant. New discs will have "D5" stamped near one of the mounting
holes. I saw great improvements in braking after the switch.
Also, the Goodyear tires will last twice as long, 300-400 hours.
