Thanks Scott and everyone.  Here's what I found out.  All the Parker co. technical people in the
world couldn't come up with the answer on this one and I almost junked the motor and bought a new
one UNTIL...
I started thinking and thinking and then it hit me.  I was using a 13.8 volt power supply with 10
amps.  I thought it was the amps so I hooked it up to a more powerful power supply and guess what,
wha la!!!  It fired up, it was smooth, it ran fine, and NO leaks.  Wow.  And now my gear goes up
and down and up and down and I've never been so happy in my whole life.  Even the hydraulic stops
are perfect.  The previous noise must have been the relays clicking and echoing in the back making
them really loud.  The 10 amp power supply kept shutting itself off thus the motor would only turn
for a second.  Then, it kept resetting itself so I had no idea the power supply was the problem,
not the pump.

In any case, I appreciate everyone's input.  By the way, does anyone know how many amps are normal
for the hydraulic pump to run?  I know there is a 50 amp circut breaker but haven't got that far
down the road yet.

Thanks again!!

Matt
