Gentlemen:

I just had a SIRS magnetic compass installed and we are experiencing errors
of up to 40 degrees.   The problem appears only to be while in flight thus
suggesting a magnetic field related to the avionics, engine or some other
aviating voodoo.

Any suggestions as to where to start trouble shooting?
