As some of you know I have been having a very hard time starting my new TSIO
550 E1B for the first 50 hours. The other two L4P's that I flew did not have
this problem.

Briefly, I would have to push the primer for 30 seconds to a minute after it
started before the injection system would finally flow enough fuel to keep it
running normally. I had tried to turn on the Low boost with throttle and
mixture in before starting and the Fuel Flow would read 1 GPH at first and
lower to .2 and starting it with the low boost on didn't solve the problem.

Yesterday and today I tried using the High boost before starting and I saw 19
to 21 GPH on the FF briefly before using about 2 seconds of primer and guess
what. It starts and idles perfect without any more primer. If your having
problems starting just try this, then you won't have the primer overflow
running out the bottom anymore and a smooth idle right from the start.

Works for me,
