I often do engine flight test with some 32 to 48 channels of active data.

But... remind me some time to tell you about the first FAA test flight for
our GAMIjectors.

FAA test pilot in the L/H seat.  Yours truly in the right hand seat, running
the computer data acquisition system.
FAA project engineer in the back seat with a number 2 pencil trying to write
down numbers off of the instrument panel.

So,... on the third flight of the day,  he comes up on the intercom and says
to Jim, the FAA test pilot,

(this is a direct quote... so help me god!)


"Jim, now tell me again what you are doing when you twist the red knob? "
