I raced motocross (motorcycle racing on a dirt track) back in my young and
carefree days.  We signed liability "waivers" before each race (if you're
crazy enough to do this, you deserve what happens).  Over an 8-year "career"
or shortly thereafter, almost every track that I raced on shut down due to
law suits, some deaths, but some just injuries as I recall.  Being young and
naive (well, I'm still the latter), I asked "Why?" and was told by an old
racer, "You can never completely sign away liability".  The Trust discussion
sounds promising, however ...

Someone mentioned life insurance.  Is this "protected" or can someone go
after it as well as part of the estate ...???
