Mark Mahnke at Lancair e-mailed me basically the same thing.  So the bottom
line is just as Chris says -- soft rivets are fine for nutplates, and the
part callout in the 360 manual for hard rivets for the flap hinge nutplates
was in error.  (Well, not really in error, since they would have worked just
fine, but their extra strength is not needed, I think they are harder to
install, and I didn't have them anyways.)
