On the topic of a Canopy that is jettisonable...

Apart from the mechanism required, I wonder about three things:  One is
whether
it really offers options in the light aerobatic flying this plane is approved
for and:  Two is whether it wouldn't introduce significant risk of injuring
occupants as it departs the airframe, possibly hitting you or your passenger.
And the third is whether you would have enough time to get out anyway given
seat
belts, and sitting position.
