First, have you called the factory to see if this is a problem?

Second, if it is, have they told you to send it back?

Third, if it is a problem and they have told you not to send it back, what were
their reasons and suggestions for fixing it?

Seems to me that this is a really big QC problem and I will bet that Lance will
be very interested in correcting it.   The key here is that he has to know about
it to correct it.   If it were mine, I would have rejected it the moment I
noticed something was wrong.
