The comments about landing a LN2 left out an important facet, to wit "Ground effect" which occurs about half wing span distance from the ground or about 10 to 15 ft AGL. At slow airspeeds my bird exibits high sink rates until in ground effect. Sooo.. I do all my turns, Downwind, base,& final at 100 mph- no flaps. (thats stall/spin protection) Full flaps on final, with entire Rwy visible, My MT 3 Blade prop if an effective speed brake to decrease airspeed, power off as the aircraft approaches ground effect. Once just above the Rwy where ground effect is most pronounced, hold the nose up and squeek the mains.
This approach is some wheres inbetween the "carrier Crash" and the high speed 3 Degree approach. An AOA probably would do a credible job too. My 235/320 at empty wt of 1095#, with even wt distribution on all three wheels, is more nose heavy than others I've seen. Don Skeele 320J 503-769-2563
