The skins are vacuum formed using preimpregnated glass (or carbon fiber - depending on your kit) at a temperature that precludes any subsequent, lasting, shape adjustment using heat. Application of enough heat to adjust the flap shape could screw up the strength properties of finished part - and it's most likely that within some time (a few months to a year maybe) the part will go back to it's original shape. You may possibly have to cut the trailing edge apart, and reach in to loosen some of the ribs, reapply adhesive and rejig the flap to the correct alignment. There may be other ways to attack the problem and maybe the factory can help. Just be aware that the reason these airplanes are so strong is that the parts, under stress, retain their strength and shape.
