Over the past months we have cleaned up a lot of the hydraulic system electrical interference but on a trip across Australia yesterday found a new and very distracting problem....it goes like this... For the first hour or two of each segment (three segments from Melbourne to Perth) the screen was clear, but then progressively started picking up major interference in the 25 to 50 mile range about 15 degrees right of the forward center line. This is the general relative direction of the battery, regulator and alternator from the stormscope antenna. In our normal flights, which are more in the 30 to 60 minute range this has never happened and I can only guess that it may have something to do with the battery reaching full charge....any experience out there with this one and suggestions as to how we might tackle it?
