Our flaps work well on the ground, but in flight, on final approach when we select full down (around 120K), they stop at around 30 degrees. After touch down, as we are slowing, the final 10 degrees come down. We have tried....tweaking hydraulic pressure to 1250 ....loosening up the rollers by backing off the nuts ....various lubricants on the rollers and guides ....even replaced the regulating valve At the moment, the hydraulic ram pushes the bell crank hard against the gear box assembly. There is slight (minimal) deflection in the box as the gear is fully retracted and we are not sure if we are comfortable with this, however have had to do this to get 40 degrees down movement. Any suggestions as to where we should be looking or how we should be doing it differently?
