I do this with my 3000 lb Trinidad routinely. I purchased a 110 VAC winch from Harbor Freight for something like $100, got 50' of multiconductor cable (12 ga wire I think) from my local home center and replace the short cable from the winch to the control unit with a long one. Extended the winch line with a piece of rope to get out to the plane. Works fine. Only issue is that, depending on the grade and plane weight, the initial pull that gets the plane moving can be pretty strong - so be sure that rear tiedown is in there securely (the steel one on the back of my Trinidad is now a little bent from the pulling). ...Clark Still, NY, 25% LIVP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
