The converter is located in the left front corner of the hanger so the infrared remote can activate the converter. (Distance is a factor with the infrared sensor). I hook up my 360 using two wooden dowels covered with auto radiator hose slipped into my wheel gear assembly. ( I have outback gear) These dowels are attached to a nylon rope and a pully is attached to the winch cable thus allowing the rope to roll through the pully and apply equal force to each wheel. You might tie to the tail if you so desire but I wanted to eliminate the vertical force component of the winch. The remote works fine unless you are farther than about 30 feet. What I usually do is hookup the plane, get it all ready, walk towards the converter until it activates then return to the plane and control its entrance into the hanger. Once all gear are on the floor, I stop the winch and push the plane to the final position. Safety factor in case the remote fails, I have sufficient time to disconnect the power source and prevent a tail aft hanger collision. I used the smallest winch available at your local parts store. The cable length was insufficient for my use so I had to acquire a new length of cable. The converter is available from your local RV trailor supply stores. Good luck.
