The original main gear is complete, unused, and for sale if anyone needs one. The gear doors are included with the exception of the right outboard gear door that I used in my retrofit and the left outboard gear door has a small piece cutout (in an attempt to obtain clearance and use in the retrofit) that requires repair. Otherwise the gear is complete and never used. In addition, the flap system had to be modified and the hardware from the old flap linkage is available. I am a bit concerned with the tight fit of the Outback gear. More specifically, there is very little clearance between the gear doors and the tire in the closed position. If anyone has any comments or experience that may be helpful in reducing my concerns I would appreciate hearing from you. In the closed position I have less than 1/8 inch of clearance between the tire/wheel and the gear door with the tire resting against the wing skin on the opposite side. Is this enough?
