Thanks for your comments Jim. I was planning on placing the stand tubes in the cockpit and venting into the header tank vent system.
Another question Jim. If you are correct and my stand pipe system is in error due to ram pressure from the vent system, I should see a significant difference in the level by changing speed from minimum to maximum at any given fuel level. If I monkey around with the stand pipe vent pr until I don't get a difference from speed change, then I have compensated for the problem, right?...Bill Kennedy
