I made a U shaped tunnel that went through the bellcrank area with a flange each side on top that would allow a reasonable glueing area to the top skin to avoid leaks (I have capstrips on ribs also). This also acts as the vent between inner and outer tank sections. Don't exactly remember how I made a mould for this. I think from memory I used their nylon supports to form a tube around the probe, some plywood sides, piece of ply across the tops of the ribs (already matched to top skin), covered it all with duct tape, some release agent and laid it up with three or four BID. Make sure it projects into the tanks both sides so that you can use 2 BID to attach it on the tank side as well as the bellcrank side of the ribs. Need to make it all miss the bellcranks and aileron pushrods. It does work.
